This document explains tips and trics for DJI RC PRO.
¶ Site footprint as baselayer on map
All the next step is done with Global Mapper (GM) but QGIS can do it too.
¶ Preparation
- Import the polygon of the site area in GM. And apply the desired style (double click on layer).
- Export layer in "MapBox MBTiles Tileset" (right clik on layer > Layer > Export).
- Put the same options as the screenshot. And click ok.
- Copy the "mbtiles" file on USB or SDcard.
¶ Import mbtiles in controller
- Replace SD card or USB into controller.
- Power on the controller
- Go to user settings (upper left) > Map Settings > Custom Layer > and then hit "import" button.
- Navigate through USB or SDcard to find the mbtiles file. Select it and hit the "confirm" button.
- You need to grant the permission of RCPRO to navigate to USB or SDcard.
- Once it's done you can see a new layer.
- Check went you make a flightplan that the layer is visible.
